The origins of this website is the conference Open access and the Social sciences: a Nordic perspective which was co-organized by NIAS – Nordic Institute of Asian Studies and DCISM – Danish Centre for International Studies and Human rights in Copenhagen 15 May 2008. The conference was funded by Nordbib.
